The CFTC makes available more than three years of history of dis-aggregated data included in the weekly Commitments of Traders (COT) reports. You can access the Historical Viewable table and in the excel format by going into left hand side panel on the website as per screenshot below. This could be handy if you want to see more correlations between the price and C.O.T data.
We have no impact on the market prices. This group is a “heard” and it is on the wrong side of the market in most cases. It should be used as a contrarian indicator.
